The Windsong Stable horses and riders had a very successful season on the “A” rated show circuit and the Lake Effects Horse Show circuit.
At the “A” shows nationally, Elizabeth Perry finished Ninth at the Regional competition in Kentucky for the ASPCA Maclay. She and her horse, Londeur traveled to Syracuse New York and competed in the Finals for that competition. LIz also competed at the USEF Medal Finals in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, after qualifying at numerous shows during the summer. On the State level, Londeur was awarded the Reserve Champion of the HJAM Junior Hunters and Liz was Champion of the 15-17 year old Equitation on the flat and third over fences. Londeur was also Grand Champion Junior Hunter of the MHSA. Diane Chapman, and her leased horse, Baxter were champions of the Children’s Hunter Division at the Horse Shows By the Bay series in July. Diane finished the season as the HJAM Limit Medal Champion and Baxter ended the year Third overall in the HJAM Children’s division. Also, on the HJAM, Angela Polmanteer and Brittany Brewer enjoyed a successful season.
On the LEHS Show Circuit – Kim McCann’s horse Drive South, was awarded the highest honor of Grand Champion Hunter, for the third year. The pair were Champions of the Junior/Amateur division and Reserve Champion of the Adult Hunters. The horse was also the Open Hunter and Special Hunter Champion, ridden by Kim and Sandi. Kim was also Adult Equitation Reserve Champion.
Sianna Stanton’s pony Miss Heidi Ho, was awarded the Grand Champion Pony Hunter and Pony Hunter Division Champion. Siana was the Pony Equitation Champion.
Mackenzie Gamage was Champion of the Low Equitation Division and third in the Low Hunter on her horse, No Ice Please. Olivia Neely also rode No Ice Please to third in the Maiden Ridden Hunter and she was Reserve Champion of the Maiden Equitation division.
Lauren Capinegro, on her horse All In Favor, jumped to the Championship in the Low Hunter Division and finished as Reserve Champion in the Novice Equitation. Lauren also won the Mini Medal at the final horse show of the season.
Stacy Hanson and her horse, Camera Shy, finished in fourth place in the Special Hunter Division.
Nancy Schuler’s horse, Zig won third place, overall in the Adult Hunter Division.
Julie Passmore finished fourth in the Adult Equitation and as a finalist in the Junior/Amateur division on her horse Otto’s White Socks.
Alexis Mougalian, in just two shows for the summer, grabbed a fourth place overall in the Maiden Equitation and a finalist ribbon in the Maiden Ridden Hunter division on Tickle Me Teenie.
Amy Capinegro was deserving of the Horsemanship award, given out by the LEHS trainers. Casey Passmore, age seven, was awarded the Young Rider Award for her abilities at such a young age.
