Barn Owner, Manager, and Trainer has been riding all her life and
has been employed in the horse business for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the Animal Technology
Program at Michigan State University. After graduation she worked for two years for a veterinarian
in the standardbred race horse industry. Sandi then moved to thoroughbred race horses where she was
an assistant barn manager/exercise rider for a private race stable. The opportunity arose in 1984
to build her own boarding facility, in her hometown of Battle Creek. Sandi focuses on the overall
management and the training and show ring rides of the horses. She takes pride in her facility and
the individual attention she and her staff give to each horse. Her clients and their horses thrive
on this atmosphere. They consistently win year end awards on all three Michigan show circuits, along
with National awards and qualifications to the Fall Indoor Shows. Sandi is very proud of her Windsong team.
